It has seemed like forever since we have seen a true center playing at Marquette that could move his feet, score , rebound and be completely effective.

This is the best first game since D Wade. Its only one game against one team but.....

In all honesty, most college teams struggle finding quality 6'10"+ guys with that can contribute.  It's not just Marquette.

He has the size and mobility that is very difficult to find and highly valued at the next level.  Physically he has a similar profile to Chris Bosh, Serge Ibaka and Gorgui Dieng.

I don't know if it was just Luke, or Luke and a good run of practice days, but the team looked much different, and much, much better last night!  I know it was only one game, but I am going to savor this.
