I remember being in the sandbox and Rosiak taking time to email back and forth on MU hoops. I genuinely appreciated his willingness to help take my mind off of the sh1t if only for a moment.

If I recall the issue was .mil admins were directed to limit all non-mission critical traffic as the rise of youtube and streaming video was soaking up bandwidth.

While in Iraq I tried to mail order a case of wine from a winery in Napa as a gift for my wife and I got the dreaded snake page. Of course the network geeks notified my boss, an Army general, that I had tried to access a prohibited site; it seems they restricted access to anything involving alcohol as part of the standing General Order against drinking. The Army pukes were relentless in their verbal assaults, suggesting that my nasty gram was for having tried to surf a smut site which was also restricted. I hated those Army guys...

2nd only to the Marines.  I'd also argue that IT was probably the largest provider of black market smut in Iraq.
