I am in Chicago staying by O'Hare ...any MU viewing bars in the area?

Might be tough out there with the Hawks being on at the same time

I work in rosemont (next stop on the el) and will probably be driving into the city around 6:30 straight to an alumni bar if you'd like a ride message me.  If not for games like OSU where I was leaving work when the game had started I just go to Adobe's in Rosemont as well.  But honestly Toby Keith's and that german place aren't bad places either. Little chance of finding alumni around unless I happen to be going to rosemont because I work late.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Peggy Kinnanes in Arlington heights is the closest alumni bar. But I'm sure any sports bar in rosemont would put the game on for you.

I am going to be in Chicago next weekend when MU is playing Providence.

I notice the game is on FS Wisconsin, not FS1, so I am guessing I will need to find a sports bar that usually plays MU games to watch.

Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Game is on the MSG Network if that helps.

Bars that are the best bet for finding the game on:

Cortland's Garage
Schoolyard
Bradley Center (just a short commute...)
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I struck out on the locations.  Going to be in Milwaukee when MU is playing Depaul in Chicago, and in Chicago when MU is playing Providence in Milwaukee.  Unfortunate, but I will try one of these places out.  I recall reading on here in the past that Schoolyard is a good place to go, so I will probably try that out.  I am guessing they get the sports pack and will have the game..

Depends on your age and way you like to drink.  If you still wish you could be in the student section except that the student section was in a bar then the schoolyard for sure.  If you aren't into that try the garage or four shadows

I agree with this assessment. At least Schoolyard remodeled and looks nicer than it did before.

True but I didn't think it was terrible before but the previous three years of going there Id been in college so that could explain it.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions. Is it a virtual guarantee schoolyard and the garage will be playing the game even tho it is not nationally televised (Fs Wisconsin and MSG)?

Yeah, I still don't mind it. Plus the proximity to me kind of takes the cake. Still yet to make it to Cortland's but hear great things. I'd be for a Scoop meetup at one of those venues in the near future.

I've seen the schoolyard even stream games online before it'll for sure be on.

Ya same plus I don't mess with happy and have yet to be unhappy at the schoolyard. A scoop meetup would definitely be a good time.

Too many Badgers there, as I recall.

Why not just go to the allstate arena and catch the game?

You must have not been there during a Marquette game.

Between diehard marquette fans at the marquette bars and going to an overall wisconsin bar Id choose the Marquette bar. Also Will's is a UW alumni bar so unless there's a packers game nobody could pay me to go there... Unless UW football or basketball is getting destroyed in a high profile game

Schoolyard didn't even have the game on last night. Tough to be a Marquette bar without FS1
