One of the things I'm really liking so far this year about Wojo's coaching style is that he really rides the hot hand.  We've seen it with Teve, Matt and Duane.  When these guys are hot, they stay in the game, they get touches, and they look to score with confidence.  I think this could be partly from the fact that Wojo as a former player understands the hot hand and that on some days you just can't miss.  I also think it's the kind of in-game adjustment that we never saw from Brent who would take out a hot hand because he thought his hockey lines were more important than a hot hand.  Anyone who's played knows that when the ball's going in there's no such thing as "tired".

A concern with this is that we still never know where the hot hand is coming from, but this team has already proven that there are 4 guys who can go for 20+ a night... and Deonte hasn't even gotten warmed up yet.  That's a problem we can live with!

Yes, i haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but Wojo left Duane in the game when he picked up his 3rd foul with about 12 minutes left. Clearly the right decision.

Nothing frustrated me more than a guy making a few nice plays and Buzz pulling him.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Crean always seemed to have a penchant for pulling the hot hand, too.  A guy would make 2 or 3 shots in a row and get benched because it was his time to rest.

Exactly, Crean and Buzz were experts at pulling the hot hand.
