Friggin Wojo.   Damn Dukies.

The Process

Relax. Respect the Process.  This is a learning year and one that will pay dividends next year and beyond.

Did anyone think that MU wasn't going to have at least one game like this one this year?

That said, I'm down with getting drunk. Alcohol - the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.
Relax. Respect the Process.

This fookin' process gets annoyin', hey?

No.   It isn't pleasant.   But if you just accept it and acknowledge this is going to be a difficult rebuilding year, it becomes tolerable.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Can I do that and still get drunk?

Why not?  I am now, it helps  ;)

There's really no reason not to.

Anyone else actually believe the old wives tale that whiskey can "cure" a sore throat? I've had it work after a shot or two of some good stuff.

But wasn't sure if I was confusing correlation with causation. Maybe I just felt better anyways.

Exactly. Drinking IS doing something positive, IMO.

I decided tonight to adopt 4ever's no wheat deal for the next 3 months.   Went out to dinner tonight and stayed away from the beer....way back to the resort picked up gluten free suds.   Go UCLA....beat the ToeJams

If you're staying away from wheat just don't drink wits or wiesse's.
But I like to throw handfuls...

I went Russells Reserve 10.  It did help.

I always make my old-fashioneds in our short tumbler glasses, so when I walked in with a tall mixer yesterday the wife looked baffled. "What's that?" she asked.

"Honey, I know tonight is going to be a multiple drink night, so I decided to fix two old-fashioneds into one glass."

I'm confused.  Am I only supposed to get drunk after bad losses?  If that's the case, is it wrong to start rooting against the team?

I think getting drunk is appropriate after and during all games, regardless of outcome.

I was thinking the same thing.  Oddly enough, I drank *less* than a usual game day yesterday.
