We are a "big test"? High praise for a team picked to finish 7th in the Big East. I wonder what the writer would call a ranked team.

Well he just means that this season, Marquette is the best team theyve played so far.  What will he write after MU beats them?!  Go Marquette!

We'll see!

UT Martin was not much of a real test. This one truly is.

If by chance we win -- and that's a tough order against a good, well-coached Ohio State team -- it will be Coach Wojo's coming out party. Our guys are up to it and I'm sure a few of the guys who went through the beat-down a year ago think they have some scores to settle.

I assume that "first big test" translates to mean "first game against a legit D1 opponent."

wow - we really shot 18.9 percent for the game against them last year.  That would have been a nice thing to just forget.

Both teams need to try and not replicate last year's fiasco. It was the worst college basketball game I have ever watched. it wasn't a defensive struggle. it was a struggle, period, for both teams. We just "out worsted" OSU to allow them to get a win. I think OSU was as ashamed of themselves to count it as a win as we were in lamenting the loss. A sad precursor to the rest of our year. Oh well.

Just need to see what we look like against a usually contending Big 10 team. That's all. Hope the basketball is better on both sides of the floor this year............
