Stewie is like 2 years too late. Let's see some love for Jermaine. Great show.

I think it's really stupid that our section totally ripped this idea off of another school. I was watching a game between two teams I can not recall last season and saw the heads and thought it was funny. The next MU game was the first game the big heads appeared. Coincidence? Highly doubtful.

I'm not saying that we didn't rip the idea off from some other school, but didn't we start the big heads 3 or 4 years ago?  I know that at the very least we had them my senior year (3 seasons ago) and I'm pretty sure we had them my junior year too.

this will be the third season of the big heads. they made their debut i believe in the Georgetown game of the 2005-06 year, possibly even earlier, but I specifically remember that game. As far as I know MU was the first to do this

Correction: according to the link @ the bottom, the big heads debuted @ the ND game in Jan. of '06, "The Shot"

I was going to say we started the our version of the big heads the first Big East year, so three seasons ago?

spartan3186

youre right I saw that game three years ago, it seems like just last year though. I remember vividly seeing the big heads like two days before seeing them at a Marquette game though.

LovinCrowder

Well, I love the big heads and it doesn't matter to me if Marquette didn't initiate it.  It's always fun to look over at the student section at each game to see what new heads have been added.  Keep them coming because everyone loves them.

🏀

The big head were a Marquette creation. Knocks offs came from us. Hell, I was on Fox 6 News to talk about their creation.

No they were not a MU creation. They were created at SDSU in their student section called "The Show".
But I like to throw handfuls...

I voted for Stewie but the rest were lame...Marge? Seriously...

They should have done this guy:

It might have even distracted TC himself!  ;)
SS Marquette

TallTitan34

They already have a Dwight Schrute big head.

Chili is right the idea did come from SDSU.  They just don't have as many (if any) nationally televised games as us so we got credit for them  ;D

I cannot believe you called The Dude lame. The Dude thinks you should look in the mirror.  ;D

Dahmer should be included. I suspect he'd be a distraction.

How about a Tom Crean head? Lord knows he'd love it!

I have photographic proof of the big heads at least as early as the DePaul game from 05-06, my senior year.

some heads that should be added beyond those in the poll:

Mr. Rogers
Spongebob
Steven Tyler
The Queen of England
Majerus would have been good had he still been on espn.
George Carlin
Wolf Blitzer
Matthew Lesko

and a big head of the jumping guy!

My man 4ever should have one too.  That cat deserves it!

I agree, Rick Smith should be immortalized even more than he already is.  Let's get his head in that section. His wife may not like that though from what I've heard.

State

any background info on who Rick Smith is??  He loves Jump Around...but his expressionless face is what takes the cake!!!  He is giving Freeway a run for his money...

CEO of R.A. Smith and Associates. MU grad, his company is an engineering firm out of Brookfield, WI.  Rated one of the best places to work the last 4 years I believe.

TallTitan34

My company (another civil engineering firm) Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer & Associates out of Milwaukee was voted the best place to work.

I bet your company doesn't fly a Warriors flag.  Or fly it at half mast when we lose to UW-Moscow.
Rick is a great guy.  Huge MU fan  and supporter.  Sponsers the pocket schedules and other promotions.
