Anyone know why Meijer does so much advertising at MU games? They don't have a store within 20 miles of Milwaukee.  There's not even a store in the state of Wisconsin.  The nearest store is in McHenry, IL.  Seems like a huge waste of advertising dollars.  Are they building a store in the area?

From what I saw on twitter somewhere, yes, they are building a store outside of Milwaukee. Waukesha maybe?

They are expanding into Wisconsin in very near future.

Kenosha, Milwaukee, Waukesha and Oak Creek all have stores currently under construction.

They bought and renovated the old SuperValu distribution facility last year in Pleasant Prairie.

Reminds me of Sonic advertising in the South Bay.

The closest Sonics are Gilroy and Turlock.

I'm thinking they're expanding soon...but the better question is WHEN.
