Well im hyped.

Also, I dont remember Buzz ever being in a madness video. Not trying to turn this into a Buzz bashing but I just dont actually remember him being one.

Season cant start soon enough so all this offseason nonsense can start and we can start the usual scoop season checklist.

Just naming him summons those who want every thread to be a proxy war for arguing the pros and cons of those who have coached before.

I think it was "Etsy" -- clearly the new supplier of our jersey's that will be unveiled at Madness.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Not sure if you meant to make that sound like Drake is a Marquette fan or...

Wait, Drake is now a Marquette fan?

Ahh, who cares?

This had me amped. Oh man.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I heard "lezzy." Not very PC, but they have a right hold their own opinions and beliefs.

What's with the bird in the video?

Which Keefe?

MU Fan in Connecticut

I saw the title and just pictured Mel Brooks in History of the World saying, "Politics, politics, politics!" and then telling bad jokes in from of Emperor Dom Deluise.

What kills me about Chief Keef (hip hop artist) is that I'd had never heard of the guy until reading a few articles on the Chicago Tribun's site. The Tribune has this weird obsession with him and posts articles about his legal troubles regularly. It's become an ongoing joke between myself and a buddy to send the other articles.

I don't care if he falls flat on his face as a coach, but I am absolutely thrilled that Marquette brought him in as our next Head Coach.

That said, I don't think he fails or anything close to it. Wojo is a winner, it's in his DNA. He will bring Marquette along to where we need to be. A strong Marquette, Georgetown, Xavier, Creighton can and will carry the new Big East.

I do care if he falls flat on his face as a coach, and if he does then I will not be thrilled Marquette brought him in as our next Head Coach given that there was interest from some very successful coaches who had previous head coaching experience at the NCAA D1 level.

Having said that, I was disappointed with the hire when it happened.  Within weeks I was thrilled with what I had heard.  And since then, everything I hear about him and the program gets me more and more excited.  I think it was the right hire and from what I hear we are on the verge of something special, but we have yet to see a single game in the Wojo era.  The results are yet to be determined.  I am encouraged and think the results will be very good.
