No one has played to the level of Wade

Maurice Lucas. Hall of Famer Bill Walton thought so much of Luke as a teammate and, more importantly, as a man he named his son after him. Luke Walton went on to play in the NBA and now coaches with the Warriors. Somehow that is only fitting.

Yup, my dad would always tell me how Lucas was Waltons personal body guard and the Blazers don't win that championship without him. Didn't realize he had that much of an impact on Walton himself though.

Not taking anything away from Wade at all but Lucas was most definitely an equal. Tough was an understatement in describing him.

Lucas was one of my faves of all-time - but it is not even close.
