I'm going up tonight.

The Wife (also an MU grad), has a hotel room with her three former roomates.  Any chance you think I can still get a room in Mashuda for tonight?  (I'm fantastic at planning ahead.)

P.S. There's no chance for a foursome; I've been trying for 20 years.

Nice place.  Just stayed there a few weeks ago.

I went to my 20th back in 2010.  It was nice to reconnect with people, but I felt bad for the people who went on their own and didn't know anyone.

I stayed last night.  There should be rooms available.

One funny thing from the weekend, so many alumni flocked to Real Chili on Saturday that they actually ran out of Chili. Ive also never seen so many people at Conways and Harp and Shame.

Perhaps WI just wants to organize, not participate.

Close to. They channeled their anger into being really creepy in the LIMO, and making fun of the way these girls were talking. Alumni are weird.

The Bodeans concert was fantastic.  Well, until two "Moms" got up on stage for the encore.  The first one, reportedly a 89'er, seemed to scare Kurt and kind of ruined the song.  Hilarious and sad to watch too old women enjoy doing something they would have killed their kids for doing.

Overall it was a great addition to the reunion festivities.  We're a lucky school to have a weekend like that every 5 years.  I know the big schools have Homecoming etc but many other schools do not have what MU does.

A great night on Saturday, hanging outside the AMU.

Glad I married down a few years, it doubles my reunion experience.

The BoDeans played at reunion 2014?  Awesome!  I coincidently was checking their tour schedule yesterday and found out they are out my way Oct. 4.

Yes, at the Varsity.  It was surreal being back there for a concert, let alone a band like the Bodeans.  Everyone I was with commented on how small it seemed.  Apparently as West Civ freshmen, that place appeared much bigger.

You don't often get to go back in time, Saturday night felt like it - just a ton of fun at the show.

So .. last I recall one of the BoDeans quit and the others kept going without him.  Yes?

Symbolic.  There is nothing more "BoDeans" than a white, drunk, 40-something-year old woman from the Milwaukee suburbs singing their music poorly.
