Is anyone keeping count on how many scholarship offers Wojo has made since joining Marquette?  Since it seems that he has made more offers than there are openings, are the offers made on a "first come - first served" basis or are they conditioned with a time deadline?

As far as making an abundance of offers, CoWojo seems to be following in the footsteps of his predecessor.

I would imagine a couple of things. Top 5 guys probably get it as long as they want. Top 50 guy are probably first come and the rest are conditional offers if we don't sign one of the others.

Then why was Heldt able to commit before the other top 2015 guys

He was willing to and CoWojo needed an early win.

Recruiting can be free flowing and subject to change constantly. Absolutely normal to have numerous "offers" out. Not all offers are equal. The rules are what you make them - understanding/communication the key. Public just hears "offer".. priorities, dominoes key to understand behind the curtains.

CoWojo is following in the footsteps of successful coaches across the U.S.A. who want to fill all of their scholarships with good players.

Absolutely agree.   Never stop recruiting.

For most coaches, for a spot or two, quality height trumps ranking.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Been awhile since we heard anything on him, but he committed to Xavier the other day. Ended up ranked in the top 100. Solid pickup for the Big East.

Obviously, Wojo cooled on him.

(I was going for smart-ass, but this time it's actually probably true!)
