I have a Michigan golf umbrella that was a gift from a son now in med school there. My woods are 20 year old Big Berthas that still sing sweetly and my irons are Pings. All are blissfully free of adornment save for the nicks and scars of the golfing odyssey. Clubs shouldn't be advertisements but tools of the trade.

If you really want one let me know. I actually know a lot of the club crown reps.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Not appealing.   I will wear the hat, use the MU marker and divot tool on the greens, put the towel on my bag.....that would just be too damned distracting on the top of my driver.

I'd be interested, how do we get them? Especially if we could get a MU Warrior logo!

I know it's just an internet forum, but some humility and/or temperance would be refreshing this day and age.  This isn't a Notre Dame board.

I get a new set of Mizuno irons every year so that I can show off for my friend's company when I play events. They are not only art, but tools of the trade AND an advertisement.  ;D (please read all in "humble brag" tone).

The new prez had the Marquette bag at the Encompass Championship Pro-am when I ran into him. I kinda want one of those. It was loud... but badass as well.

I have a Big Bertha in my bag that is about as old as I am. Have yet to find a better driver.

I'd go with Miura's.

Who can we contact to get a Marquette design?

http://www.clubcrown.com/shop/category/collegiate/

Based on the quality of my play, I'd better get some DePaul clubs.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I have a Mizuno Mallet Putter that was a gift from playing in Japan. A guy in my tournament foursome had it and I told him I thought it was nice. About a week later a new putter showed up in my office as a gift. I had always played with a Callaway wood shafted putter but began using the Mizuno and ended up using it exclusively. Mizuno makes damn fine gear.

I have a Big Bertha driver but my spoon is a Warbird. That thing must be 25 years old now but it still works beautifully.

A lightweight carry bag and I would consider it.   48 and still walking 18 and carrying.

I'd go with Miura's.

Unfortunately my retro finish miura baby blades were nonconforming after 2009 so I had to ditch em. I do have a set of Yururi Flatbacks that I use from time to time as well as a ton of Tourstage/Bridgestone irons from when I got stuff from them. I'm sort of an equipment whore.

The Mizuno's are my gamers for now. Too honed in to mess with it. Plus, free is always nice.

It was a carry. Not on the super light side. Reminded me of the titleist "deluxe" carry bags. Still pretty cool.

And crash... I only do it in the most humble sense :)
