This is the only place I know in Connecticut that has brats on the menu.  The place looks straight out of Milwaukee and has been around since the 30's.  My first job out of Marquette was nearby and the engineers would occasionally go for lunch here.  The new owners classied up the inside.

As a fellow Connecticutian who had never been east of Pennsylvania before my parents drove me to campus for freshman orientation, I never heard of brats.

Or frozen custard.

Well, your first 18 years of life sucked.

Looks like a great place. The Happy Hour sign announcing "Free Snacks" reminds me of more than a few fighter pilots who understand that to mean "Free Dinner so I can pocket my per diem."

I'll enjoy stuffin' my kielbasa into a delightful bun with the best of them. I just don't eat the fookin' bun.

You realize it's ok to eat the bun on Fridays? St Thomas Aquinas said so.

Can you eat brats? I mean, dietary laws and all

I can and do eat anything I want.

I mean, come on ... if I were an orthodox Jew, I might have opted for a different choice of colleges, no?

Maybe God sent me to Marquette to discover brats ... and to marry a Catholic girl!!

Pritzl to Bucky per Mark Miller.

It's a nice pickup for them but I'm not too heartbroken. Would love to have seen him as a Warrior but I'm confident CoWojo will find even better talent.

Bucky is going to need hit the recruiting trail hard this year. They have 5 seniors graudating, plus one empty scholarship from 2014, plus Dekker might go pro. They only manage one 3 star kid in the 2014 class. They could really be hurting in the 15-16. Let's take Diamond and Ellenson off the board just to make sure they don't recover.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.
