It's not on the level of the big boys, but every now and then I get a craving for Barnabys.

I will be going to Barnabys/The Brown Bottle at Touhy and Wolf in about 3.5 weeks.

Its a matter of preference.

I'm talking thin crust and stuffed. As far as stuffed goes, I also like Pequod's. But those are two very different types of pizza. Pequod's has the great caramlized crust. I like JB Alberto's stuffed pizza's sauce and the massive amounts of cheese they put on their pizza. And their crust tastes like thin crust, so its sort of the best of both worlds.

Its a matter of preference. You don't have to agree with me. What is your favorite in Chicago? The big chains, like Lou Malnati's and Giordano's, just don't do it for me.

New article by Yahoo! Travel giving a briefing on the top pizzerias in every state

https://www.yahoo.com/travel/best-pizzeria-in-every-state-101712153222.html

IL: Vito and Nick's Pizzeria
WI: Il Ritrovo (Sheboygan)

CT: Frank Pepe's (white clam), corroborating what MUinCT said above.  I'll give that one a shot next time

Here's a thorough look at pizzerias in the USA.  Just looking at the photos 1-101 there is some good looking pizzas there.
Cheers!

101 Best Pizzas in America

Though more pizzas were considered than ever before and more states made the list, for the second straight year, New Haven and New York City top this list as home of the best pizza in America

Glad to see Pequod's made the list at #39, but this list seems heavily biased towards East and West coasts.
