As a 49er fan, this is good news. Seattle has been drafting really well with him.

Scot as a 49er and Seahawk exec has a damn good track record:

"McCloughan drafted Dashon Goldson, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Joe Staley and Patrick Willis during his time with the 49ers as GM and VP of football operations. He then helped identify key players for Seattle such as Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson, K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner that allowed Seattle to win their first Super Bowl in February."

Yea, but the Hawks are a better franchise. The Niners cheat, as we all know.

Says the guy extolling a "better" franchise who hired a cheater.

I'm talking about the Hawks, not Harbaugh.

BTW, sitting in a Top Pot Donuts near the Microsoft campus recently and in walks Russell Wilson with a babe who isn't his bride. They were, uh, on familiar terms apparently. Since he and his wife frequent this TP shop regularly he is either very brave, very foolish, or all is not well in paradise. His wife is gorgeous but his friend wasn't hurting. Anyhow, maybe Wilson plays better next year (or worse) but I do like the rivalry with the Niners.

Forget the new girl comment, Keefe. You made me yearn for a doughnut and not of the Ford-inspired variety a la Krispy Kreme but the artisanal type!

Wow. That's a big deal because he and his wife were a package deal around town. The Hawks used both to front for the team. I'm guessing Mr Wilson succumbed to temptation after getting the Ring.

Nothing like hand-forged! Top Pot is superb. None compare.
