When you join MUScoop you must take a new name.  Similarly, when a Cardinal is name Pope he also chooses a new name :)

Cheers!

Not hard to figure out who I am if you're on campus.  More than a few classmates have asked if I'm Bagpipingboxer/punchingpiper on here.  Seeing as punching piper is also my twitter handle it's not very hard to figure it out.

I think I'd be pretty much the same without anonymity but then nobody would know I box or play the bagpipes and what fun is that?! (Seriously Irish or Scottish and need a piper hire within the MU community!)

What do you play, bag pipes, Uilleann pipes, or both?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

How far ahead of time do we have to contact your parole officer to setup a meeting?

The only time I'm ever interested in the real identity of a poster is when s/he says something that seems to indicate that they were at MU at the same time as I. I've rediscovered one guy (Tower912) who was on my freshman floor in McCormick in 84-85, via one of those many threads where those of us who suffered through the Pop Sims debacle against UNC when we welcomed Al back to campus.

My username is my Mugrack mug number. Who remembers the Mugrack in the old Alumni Union? I spent many hours there, and not only because I was quite involved in ASMU at the time. I knew Scott Walker.

We probably know each other.  I was McCormick 9th floor 1984 (home of the great flood) and then Tower 1985 (11th floor) where I kicked in my RA's door for no particular reason.  Can't recall my mugrack no but the mug is in my office somewhere.  I also knew Scott Walker.  Still recovering from crime that was Bob Dukiet.  I'm sure there are some out there who know me as I've given away my tickets on occasion.  I once sat next to Crean's sister on a flight to San Diego where she offered up that Tom loves to fake bake whenever possible.

I enjoy the board for the information and focus on MU and have only a few times wondered if someone posting was someone I knew.

I would like to know how many former coaches posted on this site.  I'm pretty sure we had Joanie Harbough-Crean on here during TC's last year.

It's beyond tragic that I left campus without my mug.  It is possibly the single possession from my college years that I'd most like to have.  I won't mention my number; lets say it was low.  I'd gladly donate $500 for an appropriate replica.

I had an Ardmore Mug that I forgot. What's crazy is my wife and her roommates lived right above the bar but I of course forgot it.

You should have hung out there more and gotten to know the mugrack manager, so that when your mug was broken, you'd get a new one. Plus there was always cute girls at ASMU.  ;D

Highland Bagpipes.  I can play a few things on the uilleann but if you knew me I enjoy being flashy and the uilleann pipes aren't very flashy.

11th floor in McCormick in 90-91. Enjoyed the culture shock of having a dairy farmer as a roommate after coming out from the NY/NJ area.

The Two Petes from Rhinelander. They would end sentences with the expression, "Too yet?"

"You finish up that lab assignment, too yet?"

Cullen Vane was a wise ass from the NW Chicago burbs who went out of his way to torment the Two Petes. For a while the entire floor was ending every sentence with "too yet." Surreal when you look back at it.
