speaking of sand...i know some have some in their hoo ha cause Buzz left....but the "paint touches" concept is basketball genius.  As much as anything in basketball can be considered genius.

It is a euphemism for a classic concept.   Get the ball into the paint, either on the pass to the post or off of the dribble.   When the defense reacts, pass and pass again until someone gets either an open 3 or an open lane to the rack.   'Ball reversal', 'inside out'..... same ideas.   Different nomenclature.
