OT: Bears Football

This year for me there has been about one reason to watch Bears football, Devin Hester (well and Kyle Orton's neck beard)...check out this site, they're trying to petition the NFL to make team's kick to Hester...well at least the Bears would have a chance to score.

This comment is so stupid it spurred me to register just so I could call it out.

By the way, you just insulted a good 30% of MU students and alums. Nice job. If you have such a neurosis about Chicagoans that you can't even share a message board with them, you really ought to pick a different college basketball team to cheer for.

When I was at MU I thought the percentage of MU students from Chicago was close to 40%....I'll agree, the Chicago bashing gets a little tiresome sometimes....but all you have you to do is remember you live in Chicago. 

Anyway, it's a fun rivalry with the Bears/Packers and the Cubs/Brewers...

The concept of Kicking to Devin is a riot.  Maybe all sports should be governed by fan opinion.  Such as the winner always being what the majority of fans want.

You Bear fans -- okay, I won't say "you", as I'm also one of those folks -- should start paying to the best team in Chicago, the Blackhawks.  Kane!  Toews!  I'm ten times more excited for the showdown on Sunday with Detroit -- the Hawks' first televised home game of many to come, a thank-you-very-much Rocky -- than the Bears' game vs the Raiders.
