Watched last six seconds of game on someones phone in train station in middle of China and let out big cheer when the ball bounced out. Would have been tough 4 hour train ride if they had won.

Our board would go nuts if our 4th best offensive option takes the biggest shots, EVERY game.

Many Badger fans go nuts about this as well. Not everybody is ok with the give the keys to Jackson strategy at the end of every game.

I Love MU, but you guys are sick. Badgers earned it and we under achieved all year. Most times out coached.

Earlier you said it was a crap shoot. No guarantees they will get such a favorable route to the final four or even such a high seed.

Yep - no early rounds 70 miles from campus.  They travel well, but won't have the home court advantage like they had this year.

So we're supposed to be disappointed?  Seriously?

I am very, very happy Bucky went down. Great story in Madtown is not great for MU. Last thing we needed was Bucky winning NC.

This.

Of course.

Was my personal little hell just having them in the final 4.

You probably love ND too! Who's the sick one?
"Every day ends with a Tums festival!"

Most Bucky fans just discovered there are other sports between football seasons.  Seriously, they would take a BCS/ Rose Bowl appearance over a Final Four every year.  As much as I hate UConn/ Kentucky, those universities love basketball.

Two good games today with two great outcomes.

So is Frank still a lottery pick?

Love guys like you....at the first opportunity a guy doesn't play all world, you question his merits as a player.  Kind of like how people wanted to say Dawson wasn't ready if he got in a game and missed an early shot/committed a turnover or two/foul....yet the one game Buzz gave him 30 he played a really good game and virtually got us a win in OT.

Kaminsky is a very skilled player...he'll stick around Madison for another year...and I suspect he'll be a fringe lottery pick.  The level of improvement he showed in just 1 year was astounding.  You won't find many 7' guys with his skill set....and...Kaminsky is actually a guy who doesn't HAVE to score to make a huge difference for his team (unlike your boy Derrick), as he drew double teams all night, and that helped create the great perimeter looks.

Thomas' Danish Delight

I didn't choose Wisconsin to go this far, but the way the brackets have been getting busted,  I needed Wisconsin to win after Florida failed to get into the championship game in order for me to win my pool.

A small part of me died when I found myself wanting them to win for the sake of a wager...

They have one hell of a team though...This tournament has been bonkers.

No, you're changing the question.  He was proclaimed THE BEST CENTER IN COLLEGE BASKETBALL AND A LOTTERY PICK.

Simply question, is this still the case?

Our board would go nuts if our 4th best offensive option takes the biggest shots, EVERY game.

As we would have a right to, Traevon Jackson is a pretty selfish point guard.  His numbers don't look bad, but he took half of the Badgers shots in crunch time the last couple games (last five minutes of regulation and overtime vs Arizona, and last five minutes in this game).  That is not a point guard's duty, especially when he isn't their best offensive player.

LOL

Even after the season has concluded, after Buzz has left, responding to a completely unrelated post, you continue to beat your anti-Derrick drum.

Ners, you have become a caricature

Bucky got the late charge call against Arizona at the end of the game that changed the trajectory of that game. Then tonight they got the call on the three pointer where Kenny Smith even said there was a travel before the foul. Bucky got a lot of breaks and had their chances.

You are absolutely correct....doesn't mean they won't be absolutely loaded next year, likely preseason Big Ten favorites, likely a top 10 team all year long.  What happens in the tournament happens in the tournament, you just never know.  But that doesn't take away that they will be absolutely loaded next year.

Nope, they were awful this year, 13 losses and looked lost and confused.  Not ranked at the end of the season.  They were an 8 seed for a reason.

CBB,  See your other thread about the tourney being a crap shoot.  And tell me why anyone pegged Aaron Harrison as the best clutch three-point shooter in the country.

Didn't your thread say the one and dones were bad because of how they did IN THE TOURNAMENT?  You used KU as an example.   ;)

Fred Garvin

Their first two games won't be in Milwaukee next year also!
