What do you mean?
SCOUTING REPORT ON AHMED HILL
by Eric Bossi - 09/25/2013
A scorer from Georgia, his ranking took a dip after a bit of an off summer. He is a two guard with pretty good size, pretty good athleticism and the ability to knock down shots. A bit passive at times and will rise back to form as he learns to put more pressure on defenders with the dribble.

That was written last SEPTEMBER, before he even played his senior year.  READ......Not Recently as you stated.

He blew up his senior year, was the Single A Player of the Year in the state.  Again, MU does not want to lose this kid.

Then JJJ is transferring to Va. Tech, to be closer to home, play in a top conference and the chance to get to the NBA.   ;)

Memphis to Blacksburg, VA: 10 hours

Why would anyone want to play much closer to home, in a top conference and for a coach that helped get Jimmy Butler and Jae Crowder into the NBA.  It makes no sense.

Unless you are from Blacksburg, there is quite literally nothing close to Blacksburg.

If he goes, he goes. Who cares? Just the business that is college BBall.

I agree 100% and this doesn't seem to be the general sentiment on the board.  I'd say the program has done OK since Tyshawn Taylor was let out of his LOI after Crean left.  To me this is the same thing.  Hill's probably going to be a very good college player, but if he goes, fine.  There's no reason why his scholarship can't and won't be filled by another very good player.  I have complete faith in Wojo to fill the roster w/ talented kids.  I'm not losing any sleep over ONE guy going somewhere else.  It's not like this is a top 5-10 recruit.  Who knows how good he'll be.  Lots of top 100's have flopped all over college ball, including some recent recruits of our own (Erik Williams, Jamail Jones immediately come to mind).

Don't understand why he would want to play three minutes a game on a 10-19 team. Oh well, to each his own.

Yes, he has relatives that made it big on Wal Mart stock back in the 1990s.

Tennessee and Virginia are border states.  There is a lot more in common with VA and TN then there is with TN and WI

They're almost identical in driving miles...620 and 626.  They couldn't be farther apart in terms of geography, lifestyle, etc

This is #donedeal.

Let Wojo work his magic. It sounds like he has already brought the Chief back into the fold

If this deal does not come to fruition, as you state it will, you will be put in prison with Buzz.

Just for my benefit, #donedeal now means that whatever is said is most assuredly what will not happen correct?

To keep everyone updated, I think this needs to be voted on in a separate thread so we are not all miscommunicating #donedeal's intended nature.

If he follows Buzz, Hill should look forward to highlighting his skills in 10-12 mpg on a terrible team as a freshman.

It would not surprise me. However, I would turn Buzz in for recruiting violation, if he has been talking to Hill after he left MU and before MU has released Hill. Also, if I was MU I would release him for every school except Big East and Virginia Tech.

I suspect that at VT he will get more minutes and Buzz will ensure that for following him there. If he does go, another example of Buzz the Charlatan. OK, now comes the defenders with "This is very common when coaches change jobs" Let's see if Wojo brings any of his Duke recruits with him. Doubt it. Just Buzz being Buzz--a total douche.

He only has a NLI, you either release it fully or not at all.  You can not place restrictions on NLI.

Seriously, we may not like Buzz, but that doesn't mean that Hill can't like him.  Schools should not hold kids hostage.

Try and remember players pick a school based on relationships with players on the team as well. Did you go to Marquette because of a professor?

No, but I've chosen jobs because of a boss.
