Didn't hear the segment, but is there any actual truth in some of these claims of Martin tanking his interview?  What about Howland asking for too much money, Buzz's guys trying to grab recruiting binders, or Shaka asking Marquette to meet his demands and then still turning down the offer?  Any shreds of truth there?

I feel like these local guys just make up stuff that can be neither verified nor disproven for the sake of discussion.  Marquette won't come out and say it.  The candidates won't come out and say either way.  Isn't this just pissing in the wind?

Hilarious. I'm sure Wojo's first priority was to fill Hunt in on who he wants to return/transfer. I guarantee he hasn't discussed that with anyone yet much less local media.

If you read Hunt's article on the hiring today, he mentions that he talked to/walked up to Wojo post-press conference when he was playing with his son on the basketball court. That's the extent of the "hard-hitting" interview/questions our man on the scene asked Wojo.

Even from a cut-throat roster management perspective, I don't think there's any point in asking Derrick and Juan to leave.  We already have at least one open spot from Shayok, and maybe more depending on Hill, Cohen, and Pierce.  It's only left-overs at this point anyway.  I'd rather keep Derrick and Juan and focus on using their scholarships for 2015.

No question. My only contention was Hunt has no idea who those guys are--it's pure speculation on his part.

There's tanking (as in what many here believe Buzz did this year) and then there is tanking.

I think they meant Cuonzo was awful and blew his chance to be hired - not that he intentionally was bad.
