Best couple of weeks in the history of what is truly an online community!

I'm kind of sorry it's over.

klyrish

Try to get Lovell and Wojo fired so we can go through it all over again?

Milwarriorkee

Only one place to go when you've reached the highest of highs.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I imagine we will ride the post announcement wave for awhile.

Then we'll get worked up when the first recruit decides to decommit...if any of them leave

Even the worst was pretty fun.
Long live Scoop.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

PuertoRicanNightmare

I'm telling you, I laughed out loud several times recently reading this board. The poll where the two answers were "No" and "No" was my favorite.

I'm an a-hole at times....I admit it.  My apologies to all of you.  Just a passionate SOB about MU like I know all of you are.  Last 6 years didn't sit well with me as most of you know.  Loved the wins and the advancement in the tourney, but I'm glad the page is turned.  Go get 'em Wojo!

The news headlines were awesome! Particularly the current one - Marquette-rewriting the book of Job.

A thread of just gifs.  There have been some great ones.

It's Happenning!!!!!

I think we talk about how long before Wojo changes his twitter profile.

Might sound silly, but I actually love that he isn't so caught up in himself that he needed to change it the second he was hired.

Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

What a whirlwind of events.  I almost got no work done this past week.  And the slow announcement of the hiring of Coach W was reminiscent of waiting for the birth of my second son.  What joy when he arrived!  I have seen several Duke games at Cameron Indoor Stadium.  It is a small, hot venue.  The crazies are great.  the atmosphere electric, and the home team generally wins.  I pray that in a few years they will say the same about BMO, except it is large, the students are  crazed fanatics, and it is hell on visiting teams.  I am optimistic about this hire.  Remember when Bill Foster left Duke for South Carolina, the fan base in Durham was saying, Mike Who?  You know the guy that played at Army for Knight.  Each head coach has to begin somewhere.  By the way, it was rough.  Then Bilas, Alarie, and Dawkins came.  Warrior Nation, our recruits will come!  Then please schedule V. Tech at their place.  Teach the band Country Roads, and then let us stomp them.

If the NCAA had a tournament of 2013-2014 basketball message boards, there is no doubt in my mind Scoop would have won the national championship.

So many threads got derailed that I encourage all of you, when you have time, to click through and read all of the threads, even if the title doesn't sound appealing because I guarantee it somehow morphed into something different, accompanied by great comments, funny pictures, and hilarious gifs.

In ten years, I hope Shaka Smart joins Scoop to commemorate our national championship by saying something along the lines of:

"And I hope everything gets done in their lives that they set forth to help all of us get done in our lives what they helped us with."
