Now that the season is upon us, we can pick up where we left off last year and begin "Famous Alumni" with the stars of IUPUI.  Blink and you might miss them.  As always, feel free to add anyone I have missed.

VP, Dan Quayle

Author, Norman Bridwell

Astronaut, David Wolf

Most decorated Paralympian in the history of the Games, Trischa Zorn

Dan Quayle is not an IUPUI alum.  At least not undergrad.  if you are going to include graduate school types keep in mind IU houses their Medical school and also Law school in Indy at the IUPUI campus which would make the list very very long.

Not to mention a chunk of the Kelley School of Business.

In that case, who's posting the picture of Chicos?

There is a law school in both Indy and Bloomington.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

There is a law school in both Indy and Bloomington.

IU has two law schools - Btown (Maurer) and Indy (McKinney) - that are actually completely autonomous from one another despite both belonging to IU.  There was talk about 10 years ago about merging them into one, but a $30M campaign a couple years back pretty much ensured that they would remain separate.  So in this case where the law schools are separate (unlike the business school where both campuses are controlled by Kelley), law alums of either can claim IU alumni status, but only IU-McKinney can claim IUPUI.

So there you go... one more reason that IUPUI is better than IU.

And by that I mean I hope whoever wrote it got 2 credits of a music elective.

Keith John Sampson. In 2008 he was accused and found guilty of racial harassment for silently reading a book. Good job, IUPUI.

Pretty telling statement about what is happening on America's college campuses. I looked up Marguerite Watkins and found she is still gainfully employed by IUPUI. Her autobiographical professional sketch is laughable were it not ironic:

My professional career includes many years in Human Resources Management both in the private and public sector. My passion includes educating people. One of my many responsibilities includes conducting training presentations for the OEO which affords me the opportunity for fulfilling my passion of educating people on various civil rights laws and university policies that govern equitable treatment.

Dip sh1ts like Marguerite Watkins are dangerous. Thomas Jefferson must be appalled.
