What's happened with Howland?

Haven't been on the boards for the last few days (and it felt GREAT).  Can someone help me understand why we haven't heard anything about Howland over the last week?

Once Shaka gave us the stiff arm, why haven't we heard any rumblings about MU moving to plan 1B?

In Howland we trust.

Whomever we get, I hope it is a more positive coach towards his players with less turnover.  Let's start to build a team with 3 and 4 year players with the occasional stud thrown into the mix.  Not roster turnover every couple of years.  My guess is that has something to do with why Buzz is not here anymore.

Yep.  Some folks saying or implying we've lost interest.  Some hope the other names are just a smokescreen to help keep discussions with Howland quiet until they're finalized.

I fall in the latter camp...but at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we go with the Hologram Al idea....

I hope you are right....  This was, is, and will be the only "impact" hire we can make right now.  And the only candidate who has the "been there, done that" t-shirt from a blue blood program and won't view us as a stepping stone.
