While I'm not a fan at all of UW, and find some in their fanbase insufferable - I will say this Wisconsin team is a lot more fun to watch than other editions, and is quite talented.  Also, didn't realize the heartwarming story behind Bo Ryan and his father....really is a good read..and might even make you not mind if UW makes Final Four...say what we want but Bo Ryan is an incredible coach.

"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

If you can put aside Bucky hate for a minute...

this is by far the smartest team left in the tournament, and they have as a good a chance as anyone to win it.

I can't bring myself to saying anything positive about the badgers.

My feelings on the badgers.

They are playing very well and Bo has done a wonderful job. However, with the way they are playing and the way things are at MU right now, I feel like I died and went to hell.

They deserve the right to crap all over us this year.  Not the slews of pretend alumni, but the coach and players and legitimate non-annoying alumni.

The Process

So... a tiny fraction of their fan base?
Relax. Respect the Process.

Can't do it. I just can't do it. I hate them damn rodents.
You know the difference between a dentist and a sadist, don't you? Newer magazines.

If Arizona wins tomorrow, I will finally forgive them for either 1992 or 1993 when I picked them to win it all and they lost in the 1st round.

I think most of the Bucky haters here are the flatlander Illinesians.

Personally, I hope for UW to go 30-2 every year - losing only to MU during the regular season and then again in the NCAAs

They are very good. That said, I think the lose to Arizona. If by chance they do win that one, and there is certainly a chance, and they have to play Louisville, I think they will get run off the court. Love me some Montrezl Harrell.

I don't think you could be more wrong.

I grew up in Appleton and have spent most of my life in the state of WI and have total hatred for the Badgers in all sports.

It may be jealousy about football, it may be little brother syndrome, but whatever it is I know that all my friends from Wisconsin that attended MU hate the Badgers.

For what it is worth, VCU fans are also rooting for Wisconsin.  Their success allows us to make fun of Marquette even more!

Both absolutely nailed it.

favorite old joke: a guy wearing an MU T-shirt, went to Marquette, a guy wearing a Badger T-shirt went to Walmart.

Agree fully.  Badgers are an outstanding team this year and also fun to watch.  Bo has always seemed like a pretty good guy.  He's just so animated on the sideline that some people rip him apart.  I find the rivalry to be more between fans than the teams.
