Everyone has an opinion and a guy they want as coach and I appreciate that. That said, in what appears to be a cluster fxxk please tell me who anyone wanted that has signed elsewhere.

We have best job open and no one is going anywhere until MU makes a decision. We can chase Shaka or whomever and until we lose someone else why all the anger?

Or at least until Izzo goes to the NBA.

Not great stamina, just common sense. Seriously, who on our list has signed elsewhere. We are in drivers seat. When I was young I was taught great lesson, when in drivers seat...drive.

Think MU is driving the bus and good will happen.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I do too. Thanks for the rationality here Goose. The board has needed at least a pinch of it!

What does it mean when a thread is moved behind the bar?

Thank you Goose. My thought as well. Appreciate you and Freeport Warrior, Richard Shaw, etc.

One quick question. Since the Cuonzo Martin rumors kind of came out of nowhere, do you think that has to do with the fact that he has recruited Diamond Stone and has a relationship with him?

Got some of that stuff to share, 4ever?
Relax. Respect the Process.

I don't know who is on our list.   ;D

I guess I find it odd that Bullseye is going so wild right now if he thought it was still going to happen.  The other part of the equation is that it doesn't really matter if someone on our list hasn't signed with anyone else.  Most guys aren't going to leave at all....they're going to stay put.  If they stay put, that's no different if they chose BC, Wake Forest or somewhere else....still not here.

I agree we are the best job open, just not sure that equates to landing anyone no our "list"...or the A part of the list.  Guess we find out, should be fun.

It is dead and locked.  That was due to the political and racism comments made.  Along with insults.

Jet915

Very true, just worried Howland will sign with someone else like Wake Forest.

too bad a third of that thread was insightful

Since the other thread got killed, this was my reaction to Goose saying Shaka is still in play...

Bullseye going wild is weird. His facts don't mesh properly with the facts I have heard from different sources, so it feels like he is both a little out of the loop AND a little bit loopy at the moment. Kinda weird. I'm just gonna keep the faith and sit tight. And give the gift of gifs

I don't know why, but I still want to believe he is still in play as well. Maybe just delusional from staring at the screen for so many days.

So, with his record, would Shaka be such a hot commodity if his name was Bob Jones?  Does the cool name play into the mystique?

Yes I would love to hear more on that. IWB even stated on his podcast that it was dead. But as Ellis Redding once said, "hope is a dangerous thing."
