I voted Wardle...however, if they don't hire Howland I am likely getting rid of mine.  Forcing Buzz out without a plan in place is foolish enough.  Failing to hire a big name coach who has stated he wants to coach at your school is unacceptable.  I'll spend my money on the Bills this year as I have to think their days here in Buffalo are numbered.

I hated the Buzz hire too...but it wasn't as though we had a 3 time Final Four coach lobbying for the job back then.

I would stop caring about the program if wardle were hired. Would still feel obligated to follow and know what's going on but wouldn't care. With that big budget we could give Brian barone a nice raise as well.

Not local, but I'm not going to care to continue to get to a home and road game each year, or let the athletic department touch what I give when I can't stand the product.  Of the choices listed, Hopkins is the only one that would be acceptable, because he would leave us in a decent position in two or three years and we would ideally not have to pull someone six years removed from the job from a cabin in Idaho to conduct the next search.

It would be fascinating to see .. the re-seating donations of 2012 vs 2013 vs 2014, although I suppose 2012 would be near normal, since that was before the change from 2 to 1 year reseating came about.

Howland hiring could salvage 2014 .. but the product is severely damaged however you cut it.

Agree. I'm keeping mine, whoever they hire.  I've always wondered what the general season ticket holder opinion was of the team versus this board.  Does the typical "Season Ticket Holder of the Game," really care who we hire?

How interested is Howland actually no one knows.  We've hired two assistants in a row as head coaches and they both worked out pretty well.  What had Buzz Wiliams proven before he was given the head coaching job? Nothing.  Brian Wardle hhas head coaching experience and is a MU alum.  I won't give up my tickets without giving a coach a chance.  Our last two guys have proved that to me.  I feel like all you posters that freak out on here and talk shi% about potential coaches are the same people booing this season at the bradley.

Keeping my tickets, UW on schedule next year, be nice to beat an elite 8 team, Who ever hired Buzz needs to be on his Xmas card list for life

I think you have to factor in the lack of big name teams in the new big east in addition to the potential of a bland hire.  Buzz was a nobody but you still had a ton of fun opponents coming in.  Now you may have a so-so coach and teams far less desirable than a Syracuse or Louisville.

The dogs of Rutgers, USF and new AAC schools of Tulane, UCF, Tulsa and East Carolina if MU  would've stayed.

But are you a fan of marquette or their opponents.  If you had a bad team in the old big east you get blown out.  I don't care whose on Syracuse if Marquette's not good.  The conference has potential.  I'm just more pissed that people are trolling Wardle.  I'm sure if you went back to the muscoop threads when Buzz got hired all these people were freaking out saying they were getting rid of their tickets.  Just let whatever happens happen.
