What happened to Mike Hopkins? I'd take him over these 3/4 any day.

We would lose him to Syracuse in 5 years or less

Death here too.  When does baseball start

Hey man, I hate to break it to you, but Marquette doesn't even have a baseball team.  Next up is footbal...well crap.

I Googled 'magic pills.' Nothing came up. I told our team, 'I tried to help you, but all I know to do is just keep working. That's it.'

Cuonzo Martin's name comes up and yet we have no interest in Gregg Marshall? Wow!

He's one of the best recruiters in the nation.  I'll take him in a heartbeat.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he is hired since it's been real quiet on that end.

Let's just fold basketball and start a baseball team.

If we're down to the mid tier two's, go get him.  It might be a decent two or three years.  Just send vitamins to Syracuse every day to keep Boeheim healthy.

IMPACT

Keefe never specified it was a good hire, could have meant a negative impact.

He DID keep saying "aim high," though.

How many times are you guys planning on falling for rumors and tweets?    Get a grip.

Been a hard couple of days. A lot riding on this hire they can afford to botch this.

There is just as much speculation on Twitter right now that Josh Pastner is interested in the Marquette job as Cuonzo Martin. Martin's name came up from only one person.

No inside information.    But I'm not going to go batcrap crazy over internet rumors.   If I am disappointed in the hire, I will unleash then.

I would be thrilled with Pastner. Good coach. GREAT recruiter.

Pastner would be a great choice. Just not sure why he'd leave his current situation.

He's on the hot seat at Memphis, 5 years there and not past the round of 32.  He recruits well but they all play street ball.  He's being compared to what Calipari did before him.

Only on Scoop. None of the sources we have here have said anything of substance. We have no idea what's actually happening.

Martin makes 1.3M a year, lower end of the SEC.  At end of year, UT was about ready to start looking elsewhere, but his team got hot.  He is in the SEC and could possibly take his team to the Elite 8.  Don't see it.

Pastner - not going to happen.  Really?

This board, and to a lesser extent the scout board, are the only places that this has happened.    The process continues.    Those who know aren't talking.    Nor should they be.   Save your powder until the announcement is made.   THEN lose your mind.
