Buzz Williams hire commits Virginia Tech to basketball like never before

Buzz was interviewed by Andy Katz yesterday.  Katz asked him why he took a $500,000 pay cut.  Buzz did not correct him and said "it's not about the money."

Fact:  He went to a worse job for less money.

I was amazed to read in the Journal this morning that the past coach at VT was paid only $245K last year.  Big step up to $2.3M for Buzz.  VT is spending some serious ACC TV and football money on basketball
