Sick Feeling

I have a sick feeling that MU leadership is going to bungle this badly.  Thinking about major issues that the administration dealt with in the not so distant past, I don't have much confidence.   

Warriors, Golden Eagles, Gold, Golden Eagles
Losing Crean (at the time it seemed like we were caught with out pants down, unlike, apparently, VCU presently)
Handling of the alleged sexual assaults
hiring/retraction of the gay dean that lead to bad press
hiring of LW & Pilarz

Hope the next thing on the list is not:

hiring a mid-major or assistant coach/losing recruits and players/complete rebuild

We always hear so much about the basketball budget and how much we spend per athlete....I hope we use it to hire a name that the fans/recruits/players are excited about. 

I just hope my feeling is wrong.  Wish I was not so obsessed over this.  Getting nothing done at the office.  Will probably be fired soon.  Don't care.

True, the Board has done very little to earn our trust. But one thing keeps me hopeful. Bill Cords is the temp AD. He knows what he's doing. Take comfort in that.
