Saw reports this morning that Manhattan Coach Masiello was a done deal to take the South Florida job, had met with his team to tell them and so on. Now A Daly Dose of Hoops, and I presume others are backtracking and saying it isn't done and he hasn't met with the team. Crazy couple days in the sports journalism world, and lots of lessons to be learned, though the quest to be "first" will likely continue to outweigh the need to be accurate.
