You really believe Wojo was MU's second choice?

yes. That's what I heard. I also heard there were two other coaches lobbying hard for the job, but Wojo won over the committee. Wojo had many lobbying for him and was less risk

It is the one year anniversary of this tweet today...just thought everyone would like to know that.

"A Plan? Oh man, I hate plans. That means were gonna have to do stuff. Can't we just have a strategy......or a mission statement."

The Process

Ah, memories...

I guess we're still learning to relax and respect the process,  hey?
Relax. Respect the Process.

people watching flight tracker was probably the most pathetic part of all this.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

The best week in scoop history is now a year old.  Seems like a decade ago to me as if a dream that never really happened.
I'd love to know the details on what really went down.  But, I like where we ended up in the end anyway.

Says the grown man posting in a year-old thread on a basketball forum for a team that doesn't play again until next November.

I'm 23 for another week so if I die they say "young man" in the news or "early 20s" so I object to that grown man statement.

Noted.

ChitownSpaceForRent

I was gonna make a thread about this too. Just beat me to it.

It was the most entertaining 24-48 hours on chat boards for sure. I loved it! Made missing the tourney very entertaining. Shaka would have been awesome.

What's pathetic (and I'm guilty of it) is watching highlight videos and following rankings based of run and gun summer ball. Then projecting their careers at Marquette off them and ripping them if they don't fulfill.

C'mon. That day was a total sh*tshow, and we can all have a laugh at it now.

Has VCU won a tourney game since their crapshoot-induced FF run? i wanna say they may have beaten SF Austin a few yrs ago, but i cant remember.

In any case, I know for a fact that he is 0-1 in the tourney since spurning MU, which I dont think is a coincidence.

VCU actually lost to SFA last year. They won their first game in 2012 and 2013 though.

I didn't start the Ron Paul gif thing, but I feel I can sense when it's needed.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
