He is getting verbally abused on Twitter by people

Does this happen a lot?

I'm not a big fan of Juan getting big minutes but hounding him on Twitter is pretty low and ridiculous.

It is embarrassing, if true. I hope I do not share an alma mater with people that would stoop so low.

I won't even discuss how guys like Burton and Duane Wilson might feel about one of their brothers being bashed by their own fan base. These kids are under way more pressure than any of us are related to the Buzz departure. Without a leader to shelter them from a-holes, what if they decide that transferring is best. All fan bases have their idiots, but our a-holes are much more real when our players are the ones getting lambasted.

Yeah agreed and at least now hes just starting to have fun with it by retweeting one of the idiots and doing a fake out saying hes deleting his accounting.

True about being under much more pressure now in regards to the Buzz departure.  But that pressure pales in comparison to the pressure you were under that Saturday night back in 98', Cam.  I don't remember her name, but I hope your chest has fully healed.  I'm sure she was a nice gal, though.  Even if she was your first, you still should've been aware of your limits!

I don't know this for a fact, just something I noticed having season tickets next to the student section, the students cannot stand Juan.  I don't know anything about how he carries himself on campus or what the deal is.  At an earlier non-conference game this year, there was an entire row in the upper deck that chanted F U Juan and held up their middle fingers every time he touched the ball (I scolded them, which didn't go well).  While his performance has been disappointing, I don't believe it warrants the treatment he has been getting at the BC or on twitter, has to be something else going on.....but I am just speculating...

Ive never experienced it but I know some people have some major problems with Juan. Some of which are very warrented but in reality hes no different then a college kid like myself. We all make mistakes. Btw, Dawson was in the LIMO I was driving last night. Semms like he is sticking around based on the convo. Dont quote me though.

Juan seems like a pretty good kid--hope so. Just not a real great BB player. He should not have to take crap on twitter. Sure glad I do not squeet.
