Obviously there's a lot of speculation regarding who will be the team's new coach.  I guess I'd like to find out from the posters here what jobs are CLEARLY BETTER jobs than MU at this time.  I expect there to be some stark contrast of opinions but I'd figue I'd open up the topic.  Here's my list of jobs better than Marquette.

Jobs that I would completely understand a MU coach leaving for

Duke
UNC
MichST
Kansas
Kentucky
UCLA
Louisville
Uconn
Syracuse
Georgetown
Texas
Florida
Indiana
Ohio State

Not sure about UConn as long-term better without the Big East and Calhoun. Maybe the same?
Memphis probably on par, as well. Same with Illinois. Maybe Nova.

As for better, you're missing Arizona, Michigan, maybe Maryland, maybe LSU (major conference, lots of money, great recruiting).

I knew I left out a couple.

Arizona, Villanova and Michigan should be on my list.

I included UConn due to their multiple NC's more recently, football program, and overall name recognition.  Put it this way, if MU and UConn both had head coaching vacancies at the same time I think UConn has their pick of coaches over MU.

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."
