He is doing a great job managing this process. He has a big time coach "very interested" and is now carefully taking the temperature of key alums. He is working the back channels on the other two. For once, Marquette is out front and doing it right. We stand to end up with an excellent coach, not matter who it is of the three being mentioned. More importantly, we are avoiding being "turned down".

This is an excellent position at a great basketball school and Bill knows it.  I have the strong sense we are not settling and we will and a "big time" hire to get over the sting of the current mess.
