Hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere...but thought at minimum would be a fun topic to discuss...considering Cords hired Kevin O'Neill the first time around...and K.O. still is fond of his time at Marquette....a guy considered to be a great recruiter...is now older, wiser, been around....totally far fetched or could it be a possibility?

Assume Shaka Smart turns us down, Marshall too...would you prefer Saul Phillips, the Manhattan coach, or Amaker, etc., over K.O.?  Howland?
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

God no! The guy's shown no progression in coaching since his time at MU.  I appreciate everything he did bringing this program back but we're a powerhouse now not a program looking to rebuild.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

keefe

People should review his record at SC before jumping into this pool.

I completely agree the man has been all over the place with not much to show for it.  His recent gigs at 'Zona and USC both ended poorly.

Rod Burks on channel 4 said, KO is in the mix.

Well, he did win us two conference championships....the university is still looking for the trophy and banner associated with the second one, but if KO says he won two at MU, who are we to disagree.

OH, and please shoot me with this this idea

I think that you are discounting what a fine representative he will be for the University.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Oh I remember that guy. Wasn't the last job he was successful at Marquette?

Love him as an announcer. But pass
