There is a whole lot more to this than meets the eye.

This place is full of rumors. Investigations, disagreements etc. I have no idea what it is, but something is seriously wrong for this to happen.

I can't believe it was this season. Sure, everyone has a bad season. Tommy Crean had a couple. But we don't cut and run. I'm anxious to know what really happened.

What I am confident of is two things. The first is that with Father Wild and Bill Cords at the helm, Marquette will spend what it takes to be a world class basketball school. Too much is riding on this one.

Second is that Buzz lost his mind. Blacksburg, VA? C'mon, Buzz. We both know you could have done better. You're going to have to compete not only against your old pals Notre Dame, Louisville, Syracuse and Pitt, but also against Duke and North Carolina. Not to mention the rest of the ACC. You want this kind of a challenge, you should have taken the DePaul job.

Buzz, I don't get it. You could have been head coach at Oklahoma, SMU or any one of several Texas schools. But VT?
