Anthony Lee
« on: March 18, 2014, 11:20:38 AM »
I know it's a bit early to speculate on off-season moves, but I at least hope this kid would be on the radar. Anthony Lee, 5th year transfer would be eligble to play immediately and would provide instant depth in the front court, had a solid year with Temple.

Would be very nice with him and Fischer...Burton.   Maybe STjr or JA transfer...someone's probably leaving if history repeats.

Exactly what they need. Getting a guy like Lee would ease some of my fears going into next season.

Would love to see a kid like Anthony Lee in a Warrior uniform. We are currently overcommitted by one, so I don't see it. But you never know

We are not overcommitted by one. If Malek Harris signs we will be over by one.

Ummm.  Gardner, Otule, Jamil all gone.

Lee, 6ft 9, 230 lbs. who goes for 17 and 9 a game and is experienced.

That would be a nice fit.

A Steve Taylor, Jr. transfer would not be a good thing not even to get this guy who has one year left.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I don't mind fighting the other teams on that list. Could be a huge get.

Wonder who gets "buzz-cut" if this goes through

I don't know what the hell is going on with STjr.

Lee offers the length I thought Buzz would be getting more often.   Would be an awesome get.

Buzz should cut whomever he wants to make the team better, no idea of Harris will even be asked to come to MU in April.  Who knows what he did to improve this year, should go to a JC for a year, MU needs players that can play now.  Lee would bring them a great frontline, Taylor is really a big soft question mark.

Yeah I know and I really don't like to speculate on status of transfers. But to me, if you are able to add a quality player especially a big, I think it's a no-brainer. There would be plenty of playing time, might have to play center given lack of depth until Fischer would be eligble, but PT would be there.

I'd rather let our young point guards develop.  Next year is full of youth.

Committed? Yes. Signed? No.

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN  18h
Temple transfer Anthony Lee's list continues to expand. He's heard from Louisville, Ohio State, Florida, FSU, USC, Miami, Pitt, NC State.

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN  18h
Lee (cont'd): in addition to the ones I already mentioned: Iowa State, Illinois, Marquette, Indiana.

No hotter commodity these days in college hoops than productive 5th-year transfer. Especially big man. Temple's Anthony Lee finding out now.

More schools for Temple transfer Anthony Lee -- Maryland, Iowa, Butler, Ole Miss, St Johns,  Providence, Seton Hall, Arizona.

That's a lot of heavy hitters. I'll assume this is Tarrik Black all over again, and we won't be seeing him at MU. Moving on.

Just a gut feeling, but I would think one of the other schools who is looking at him will have a scholarship open up before MU does.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
