I have UD beating SU. The assistant coach at UD was an all-be player under Boeheim. He was a late 90's player so he didnt player zone exclusively, but he knows their general principals. Boeheim didnt run a defense that as exclusively zone until around 2007.

If I were SU I would prefer to play OSU

Dayton 60-ohio 59.

Love that Aaron Craft missed the winning shot!

8.8 points a game and under 5 assists. If the guy wasn't white, none of us would know his name. Translate Tebow's football skills to basketball and who do you get?

I had Dayton over aOSU on all my sheets, but no way they beat Syracuse.

Agreed.  Had 5 turnovers today that cost them immensely as well

I was at the games in Buffalo and whatever else you say about Dayton they had two fairly large sections of fans who traveled to the game.  Except for Syracuse (of course), it looked they had the largest rooting section of any of the other teams.  Ohio State probably had 1/5 of the fans Dayton had.  Dayton fans were loud and really supported their team.  The band and the cheerleaders actually kept the fans involved.    Looked like Dayton had more fans than the old Big East (UCONN) and new Big East (Villanova) combined.  Syracuse, of course, packed the house.  All in all, very impressive.

By comparison, I'd guess there were maybe 100 UWM fans (excluding the band and cheerleaders).  A good part of the "neutral" fans actually joined in cheering for Mil-wau-kee when it looked like UWM might give Villanova a game.

Parking lots were full!  And a few fans with stupid beanies with propellers on top.  I just said they showed up - not that I enjoyed their company!

Of course they showed up. It's Dayton, the taint of Ohio between Cincinnati and Columbus.

What's the deal? Did you not get accepted by Dayton?

Dayton has just beaten Syracuse in Buffalo.  In three days they have twice as many tournament wins as they had previously had since 1990.  I'll give them one thing, as far as auditions to join the conference, they've performed well this year.  Going to take some Pepto since I found myself pulling for Dayton, but Boewhine will do that to you.

I found myself actually rooting for Dayton tonight...gross....

Dayton screams mid-major and they are never shifting from that. Don't want them in the conference, especially don't want their coach.

Great win for them. Still work to do, but their resume is improving.

I bet coach K is pissed!  Upon learning that Dayton beat Syracuse, I bet the cheese fell out of his snout.

Yup.   Partied there.    Congrats to UD.   Hopefully, when they come to the Big East, MU isn't voted off of the island.

UD seems to have a great fan base that not only is Alumni, but Locals as well.

Would love to see the same support in Milwaukee that Dayton gets in Dayton.

Speaking of Dayton, those of you in the "ABD" camp seriously need to reconsider your position:
