Deonte should have been the 5th starter for a while.   Once again, no foul on Gardner on one end, ticky tack on Wilson.

Burton's our team's best statistical defender as well.  Can we stop with the nonsense of him being a poor defender already?

No kidding it's one of those things where one person  says it and everyone else runs with it.

Then people act like Derrick is god on defense, WRONG.

Reason they called Derrick I think is because he reached in from behind. But it is bs they call that and not the Davante one.

Some are all about "lockdown" as opposed to actually making plays on defense.

I would appreciate some home cooking.   Last play is something Burton is going to have to work around.   Great position, blockout, went up as high as he could and the 6'9 he was guarding reached over him without fouling.

The real story is that we all thought Jamil would avg. 19 and 5.  Instead he averages 4 Fouls and 0 points.  Such high hopes and instead an unfulfilled Sr. Year.  He literally hasn't done crap.  I'm at the game and it is ridiculous how small his impact has been on the game.

On the play where Derrick slashed into the lane and dumped off to Gardner, who went up and got the basket due to goaltending....does Derrick get the assist?

Ox is getting absolutely hammered out there, and Buzz is standing nonchalantly on the sidelines with his arms folded, not protesting at all. way to protect your player, Buzz.

If he had gotten a T, you would be whining about that, too.

This is a typical JT no show performance and would be a great time for JJJ to get some pt. St Johns athleticism is too much for him and he can't do anything against them.

yes I have been bitching a lot about the officiating--which is terrible. Thanks for noticing.

And yes, we have been losing for most of the half. Thanks for noticing that also.
