This shows MU as the 5 and Providence as the 4 with Providence, which right now is not correct because MU beat Providence.

CRAP...you are obviously right. Don't know what I was thinking. Obviously the game stays the same, but below is the corrected version:

RushmoreAcademy

Obviously things will change, but I wouldn't mind that path.   I know we just got smacked by Nova, but I'd actually prefer to see them over Creighton, and of the rest of the lower seeds I want to avoid St. John's.

I would actually like to see us face Xavier, then Gtown if they upset Creighton.

Is it  possible for us to drop to 6th, worst case scenerio?

Regardless of what happens at Providence, the game against SJU this Saturday will determine which team has the higher seed. If MU loses both games this week, they would drop to the 6 seed. Beat Providence and we're pretty much guaranteed the 4/5 game at the Garden. Interestingly, depending on how it shakes out, if we lose to SJU on Saturday, that may result in a 4/5 match-up with SJU at the Garden which would be devastating. A lot riding on that Saturday game as of now.

Is our chance at the 3 seed all but gone but unless Xavier loses their last 2 games?

Xavier has Seton Hall and Nova left.  If they lose both, that would keep the door open.  If they split and finish 11-7, and we win out and finish 11-7, I am guessing they win the tie breaker since they beat Creighton?

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Interesting, I would way rather drop to 6 and avoid St. John's in the first round and take our chances against xavier at the 3 to at least get 1 win.

Huh? You'd rather lose tow games, to have a better chance to win 1?

Well if MU loses one, the bubble official bursts so you might as well lose the other IF YOU THINK the path to an auto-bid would be easier.

Yeah i didn't really mean I want to loose 2, just not thinking and over reacting to the possibility of playing St Johns in the first game at the garden.

Yes.  They have the tie breaker since we split the series and they beat Creighton.

I get being scared of SJU at the Garden but this is stupid.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I would take our current path in a heartbeat. Providence is very beatable. Nova is more beatable than Creighton. And Creighton could easily get upset by GTWN, XAV, or SJU.
