North Carolina rushes the court

I personally like number 23 laying down on the court and avoiding getting his head stomped in.

I hadn't heard about this. Bad rush of the court.

1) They are a blue blood
2) They are an NCAA tournament team this year
3) Duke was ranked 6th...that's fine for lesser teams, not UNC

This will sound like a strange position but I don't have any problem with the kids rushing the court.  They want to beat Duke and they did.  They want to celebrate.

That said,  wow that is weak.  Pathetic actually.  It would even be pathetic if UNC wasn't a tourney team.  Even if UNC had a losing record this year and Duke was #1 it would be pathetic.

There must have been UNC fans at the game just aghast at that sight.

If UNC students are truly amazed that they could beat Dook at home, they must think UNC's days as a blue blood are over.  I'm fine that they did it -- like others said, kids will be kids.  But rushing the court says a lot about what they must think of their program.

I was at this game. I think your point is very accurate. People have been very upset about the trend of their program and scandals.  it has been a strange year for UNC  with  big ups and downs and the vibe I got was that it was more I a spontaneous celebration that they are still relevant at the highest level rather than oh we beat number 5

I am sure they had fun and good for them.  Unfortunately, it is still pathetic.
