Jake's coming up with some nice plays.  Things would be really out of control otherwise.

Have to account for shot blockers.  Easiest way is to get them in space, which requires making some shots.

yeah I know and since Jamil has decided to absolutely suck this year shooting the ball we need Jake to hopefully hit a few more. Or were in trouble.

Look how far we extend our defense compared to how far St Johns extends in the half court.  They are covering way less area than we are.  It is very tough to score when you can't stretch the defense.
