MU wearing special pink uniforms Saturday for Coaches vs. Cancer

I don't recall any men's team wearing all pink in the NCAA DI any time in the last 10 years for hoops (I know Oregon did pink helmets this year for football, but with black uniforms...looked ok).  Highlights of pink, yes..but not the whole thing.  Honestly, it will bring great attention to the cause.  I just don't find them very tasteful looking.  

Then again, I found these ridiculous.

Actually, my hope is that a sponsor has stepped up for T-shirts for the students.  If we're taking this as seriously as it seems (no problem in my book), then filling the student's section with pink would look pretty awesome.

I have had close relatives with Breast Cancer.  It can be a horrible disease.  That being said, there are dozens of cancers that kill but only pink for breast cancer can line the pockets of Nike, the NFL, Kohl's Department Stores, etc.  Sure "a portion of proceeds" but those portions are often miniscule.

Color me skeptical.  Many other ways to affect cancer.

Wow...the fashion police on here are riduculous, some people need to get some perspective.  It's a good cause, there is a very real personal connection to this issue for one of our players, and it is one game.  

I think it's pretty cool that we do something interesting every year....you aren't going to love every special uniform that comes out.

On the jersey shown they don't have AL. Can anyone confirm if they jersey does or doesn't have one. Also, I feel it would a lot nicer with a baby blue base and pink replacing yellow on the jersey.

Boxing doesn't exactly pay enough to get me compeitive in those auctions. Plus they're always game worn and I'm 5'7" I'd look like a fool in a real jersey.
