dawson stays in with 4 fouls.

unlike anti-derrick people, i hope he does well

I'm anti derrick but would love to see him do well(or our offense as a whole with him in the game)

But it simply doesn't happen.

We stagnate for 3-4 minutes sometimes even 10.

Can we just morph them into "Derrick Dawson" - getting Dawson's offense and D. Wilson's defensive experience?

That's exactly what Buzz is gonna have to figure out how to do. If Dawson is going to be asked to play 25-30 min, he will rarely make it through a game without fouling out, and what he brings offensively, will be negated on the other end. Not an easy task, but Buzz needs to find the right balance (which will likely change game to game).

i don't disagree that he is an offensive liability. but he does bring positives to the court.

What does he bring off the court.

That will require a "premium" membership!

Who is this #25 guy?  I thought Fischer was a traditional and couldn't play until next year?

Jamil or Todd - now is your time if we're to win.

Derek Wilson.... too much dribbling and it costs MU a possession/foul on Jamil

Biggest difference between the two...Derek dribbles, waits, picks up and finds the easy pass.  Dawson gets it out of his hands quickly, making the defense react to ball movement rather than allowing them to settle into assignments.

He is a great ambassador for our school...fully bought in and lots of press on how meaningful things like Buzz's Bunch is to him...no worries about off court issues and his academics are solid.  Seems to love MU and I think the feeling will be mutual and strong when he is done.

This team will not win many games, when probably your most talented player, Jamil, does not have a basket 3/4 into the game.

Dawson playing ok, and argue all you want, but come on, this is Duane Wilson's role next year.

Hey Jamil, there you go......

Absolutely agree. I guess I am not even anti derrick, I am anti the amount he plays(up until tonight).

He definitely deserves to play.

I honestly don't understand how people cannot see that Dawson is a better PG option.  In spite of the 4 fouls, he changes MU's offensive flow for the better.

Oh, WELCOME BACK STEVE TAYLOR!!!

They see it!

We've fallen further behind since Buzz sat Derrick, though.
