Dakich is doing the IU/Bucky game.  Going into half he was praising Crean for energizing assembly hall.  And what was the one reason he cited?  Why all the fat heads in the crowd!!

What a great idea!!! Think that would play in the Bradley center???

It was mentioned the Tanned one brought the idea from Marquette

Would have rather seen the badgers win that game for some reason.  Exciting finish nonetheless.

Tanned Tommy beats Bo after 12 losses to them, did he shake Bo's hand?

Someone finally takes down Bucky.  That deserves a free tanning session.

They practically needed a room. Tom seemed very chatty for once in a handshake with Bo.

The Bronzed Beast's Post-Game Behavior varies widely based upon the final score. He is particularly rambunctious in Ann Arbor.

When Wisconsin beat IU in the Big Ten Tourney last season, they had a long handshake and chat. The loss at Assembly Hall, blow by.  It largely depends how he thinks his team played IMO.  It's immature, but hopefully he is addressing it after some unfortunate encounters.

augoman

his post game handshake behavior smacks of his brother-in-law's (49ers), but I wish I had watched the game.  Must have been some extraordinary coaching by Crean.  Good on him.

You'd love it if he were your team's coach!

No way! Fans on this boards like their coaches buttoned-up and stoic after games.

Crean received plaudits for his strategic benching of Yogi Ferrell, and deservedly so. It was a nice piece of psychological tweaking on his part, and the proof was in the result.

Even if Uw is undefeated and #1 in the country when we beat them--you would stop being an MU fan for life?? (I know UW was #3 and undefeated last night).

What if MU beats bucky in the NCAA title game on a last second half court heave while Buzz jumps on the scorers table to flip off the fans in a tribute to Al? I would be ok with a court storm there...

Huge win over the #3 team in the country that was coming in undefeated. They have great fans and the building was electric. I would love for MU to have such an environment.

There is a story on some other boards that Crean addressed the crowd before the game, firing them up, telling them that if/when IU fell behind by double digits, that is when the team would need the Assembly Hall crowd support the most.

He is. :)

Sure, Jimbo is overdramatic...but at least he has the passion of a FORMER PLAYER.
I'm not sure what Crean's reason is.

BTW, how many of IU's big victories were away from Bloomington?
Both UK and WI were at home.

Does it really matter? We would love to have had any of those wins, home or away.

It does. Can a team win on the road?

Those were big wins. Got it.

But it'd be bigger winning AT Kentucky....AT Madison...especially when they were ranked as high as they were.
