Women's MU Basketball is currently sitting at 11-3, tied for third place in the Big East at 2-1. Beat Georgetown in OT last time around and play Xavier today.

Terri Mitchell is in her contract year and earning her paycheck.

Good for them, nevertheless she should be let go.  All programs at MU have really acheived, but Wbb has been poor to average at best.  Time to move on...

River Rat thinks she should go to Mizzou-- the other MU.

Well how many ncaa tournaments has she made?  Ncaa tournments games won.  Conference titles won?  Etc.  the other MU teams are acheiving those.... She is not.
Now i realize Nd n uconn were in conference , But Mu plays barely above a mid major level.
With as successful as our mens basketball team is and our other teams I think we should strive for better.  She had her chance and was moderately successful.  IMO we should strive for better with our Wbb program

Maybe you should focus your energy on following the women's team.  You can also create your own wbb scoop and post there instead.

Or post it here, on a website that is about MU Hoops? I'm assuming this includes men and women.

I'm pretty sure he was suggesting that so that River Rat would leave Scoop...

The Lens

Terri's a great person but she's the Mike Deane of WBB.  What has she done to merit her length of service?  We fired Deane-o for winning 100 games in 5 years.  We (according to Chicos) fired TC for not getting to the S16 for 5 years.

Bring me some Jim Jabir!

I personally agree but i guess on an opinion board, even tho the results have been average at best my opinion is wrong.  Funny

Ur probably right ... With all the turnover and an temporary AD they probably dont want to gO thru a coaching search.  Cant hurt that bill cords hired her either... Better to be lucky than good.

Average to mediocre results. Marquette should demand better.
