NM shots are so bad they are getting the long rebounds.

Steve Buscemi

I think Mayo was envious of Deonte Burton's nickname.

Gotta get Dawson in this game, hey?

Fans sound pretty good.  Must be the free drinks in the casino.

Todd getting lots of PT. Me like.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Fran Franscilla had two interesting stats

Our four losses are to teams that are a combined 40-3 at the start of this game.

He believes Vander Blue would average 18 points/game and we would have 1 or 2 losses.  Also thinks no team in the country misses a player more than MU misses Blue.

Why is Mayo wearing a mask?

Come on, you know you thought for a split second that a teammate popped him in the nose...the thought crossed your mind.

It's a pretty small place.  I've been there for a few fights and the noise echoes in there.  I don't know what capacity is, but I'd be surprised if  basketball is more than 15 or 16K.  There's a lower bowl and slight rise above, but it's not tiered with levels like other arenas.

Vander who?

So is Duane going to be redshirted?  Interesting to see Steve in the game.  But not that good since I don't see him contributing much this year and it will be a wasted year if he doesn't

Some poor decisions and switches on D aside.... I'll take the first half results

That was choice B on the scantron.  Choice C was he broke it playing basketball in some fashion.

Heat check.

Jake Thomas has been way better than Jake from State farm tonite!!!! Keep it up!!!!

AirPunches

Good half. Jake is effective when MU plays three guards at the same time.

Couple of thoughts. Derrick's FT stroke has really improved. These refs apparently don't understand the 3-second rule - Kirk has virtually pitched a tent in the lane on occasion. Looks like no redshirt for ST, Jr. Hope we get enough distance that JD gets some PT.

Dawson who is from New Mexico.... Im sure would love to play but unless its a blowout he'll probably watch this game from the sideline.... Freshmen blues. His day will come.

Yep Derek has been shooting well from the line.

Mayo got smacked in the nose on that teardrop runner against IUPUI.   Does nobody actually pay attention during these games?

Great balance in the first half.   Scoring from lots of places.   A couple of missed defensive rotations.   Nothing from the frosh.

True. Went out of game bleeding once or twice.
