had a pretty ridiculous dunk tonight. Just saw a brief clip of it on Fox Sports Live.

Wish I'd seen a bit more of that aggressiveness at MU

Messed up ending to that game.  FGCU obviously got the game tying shot off before the clock ran out but they said that 0.3 seconds wasn't enough time left to make the play so it was waved off.

I was amazed it didn't get reviewed.  Jamail serving up the 90' dime for it too.

The shot definitely beat the clock expiring, but that was a matter of the timer not being able to start the clock in the milliseconnd necessary for complete accuracy.  Rules are if there is only 0.3 seconds left, it is not possible to catch and shoot in that short period of time, and only tips are allowed.  The referee did warn the benches before the play that that was the case.

Honestly, I didn't think this dunk was better than our Wilson-to-Wilson alley-oop. Derrick's pass was perfect and Jamil's flush was powerful.

There is more to basketball then just dunking.  I remember the dunks Jamil had in high school which were the Play of the Day on ESPN, other than that, his game is full of weaknesses.
I watched some of the game last night, was not to impressed with him as of right now, it was a good move for him to move on.

As decent as Jamail has looked at FGCU, most of what we've seen are highlights. He's averaging 8.2 ppg and shooting 32% from three in over 30 mpg. I'm pretty sure if he was here, those numbers would be even further down. I really hope he can continue to have success at FGCU and hope that he is just scratching the potential of what he can do there, but I think if he was still here, he'd be in a dogfight for minutes with the freshmen.

Regarding that final play, I'd love to see someone analyze how much time that ball spent in Fieler's hand. It may not have been a tip-in, but he got it off pretty darn quick.
